Chuck Eckerman and Linda Doria Eckerman

Linda Doria Eckerman earned her paralegal certificate from California State University in Hayward, California in 2001. Before opening the law office with Chuck in Grass Valley, CA, Linda worked as a paralegal with two law firms and was a corporate paralegal in the Bay Area. She has also attended numerous courses in family law as part of her continuing education requirements. She was a member of the board of the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Western Nevada County, and was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).  During her tenure as Paralegal for the Law Office of Chuck Eckerman, Linda propounded all discovery for the office and analyzed and presented  to Attorney her findings based upon incoming responses.  She prepared drafts of responses to discovery demands; researched codes, case law, and drafted legal documents (i.e. Points and Authorities, client declarations, drafts of Pretrial Briefs, etc.).
